my take:

I was very excited to try these and knew they would be a hit with my boys. Although they are called liquid chalk they are more of a bright, dry erase marker that works fantastically on mirrors and windows.

At first I was a bit nervous to use them, thinking what if this doesn't come off! i first tried it on my vanity mirror:

It does take a few minutes to get the liquid flowing--just shake it and press the tip down for about 30 seconds. I then decided to see how easily it came off. It wiped right off, like a dry erase marker, using only a dry paper towel.

Now with the confidence I wasn't creating permanent art,  I took it to the front foyer of our house:

It was now time to share this fun with the boys. It is a rare activity that excites both my 9 and 3 year olds but this one did:

And after 2 hours I decided to take it down--again was easy-peasy. I used just a dry paper towel and then some windex to remove smudges---good as new!

The colors are very vibrant and easy to use. I do wish they had a black color in the pack but I really did like the bright white. I also noticed the longer you leave the chalk on the more muscle it takes to remove it. Make sure if your children use them they know exactly what surfaces are allowed!

Some important things to know:

-these are not refillable, once the liquid is used that's it.

-name is a bit misleading. this is NOT chalk that you can use on sidewalks or traditional blackboards that can have a porous surface. i tried a small section on some peel and stick black chalkboard and it didn't wipe off completely--it did stain some. always do a small test before the kiddos go crazy!

-use this product on car windows, mirrors and glass--i had zero issues with these surfaces.
