Purex is ready to tackle your toughest stain! Two power agents have come together and combined forces: the bright clean of Purex detergent with the powerful stain fighter boost of Clorox 2. This power couple claims to clean 100 different stains!
From the Purex Site:
The scent is still that amazing iconic Purex original scent, although it also comes in Sunny Linen. But we all know Purex smells great--the question is can it tackle my toughest stains? I decided to create some and test the results myself.
I took 3 washcloths and created 3 different stains:
-ketchup
-mud
-peanut butter oil
(not as apparent in the photo but trust me it is a noticeable, oily stain.)
update!
Well, I have to give them props--Purex plus Clorox 2 effectively removed all 3 stains! I looked and looked from all sides of my washcloths---truly no stains remained! well done Purex!
I am even letting these stains sit for a few days, much like our real laundry. I will wash them this weekend and post the results! Since New Purex plus Clorox 2 is bleach free, it is safe for colors. For tough stains they do recommend applying some detergent directly to the stain, rubbing it in, and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
GIVEAWAY TIME!
Purex has provided me with 3 coupons so you too can try their New Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent! Enter my giveaway and I will choose 3 random winners. Good Luck everyone!

We use Purex exclusively, but there are times when a tough stain won't come out. I am interested in seeing how this works, even if they do suggest pre-treating.
